Mahas, has a Certificate in Computer Studies, and is no stranger to the Intellectual Property world, having worked in a legal firm for 8 years before joining DCC Advanz.

Having the benefit of a well-grounded foundation, Mahas is well versed in patent formalities and administration. She also sees to the prompt filing of patent applications, and ensures that all documents and deadlines are docketed accurately within DCC Advanz’s proprietary system.
A highly organized person, Mahas ensures that the administrative matters of the Patent Department run with clockwork precision, and supports the functions of the other members of the department. She also regularly interacts with the officers of the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) to obtain the latest updates to patent practices and procedures.

Mahas’ past- time is gardening, and she enjoys taking care of her large variety of plants in her home garden. Her favourite plants are roses, and she cannot help but stop to admire new rose species whenever she comes across them. Apart from gardening, she also enjoys watching travel and adventure themed television programs.
