Mae Lin is a Consultant Advisor to the Trademarks Department at DCC Advanz. She spearheaded the operations within the Trademarks Department and continues to be active within the team in an advisory capacity. A law graduate of the University of Queensland, Australia, Mae Lin’s professional qualifications include being an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya (non-practicing) and a Registered Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent of Malaysia.

A specialist in trademark and copyright related matters, Mae Lin was instrumental in the setting up of the Trademarks Department, and was responsible for the development of the processes and policies for the key departments at the company. Her attention for detail and meticulous nature enabled her to create operationally efficient systems and processes for the company. She also led the daily operations of the Trademarks Department, and was proficient in trademark prosecution work - conducting searches through to the registration and management of large trademark portfolios.

In her present role, Mae Lin continues to act as consultant advisor to the trademarks team, utilizing her wealth of knowledge and experience spanning close to two decades to assist and guide the team. She advises on trademark protection and expansion strategies, as well as on related processes and systems that are implemented within the company.
