Patent Senior Consultant
Responsibilities:

Conducting patentability searches; i.e searching for inventions, reviewing how they work and identifying their new or unique feature
-
Drafting patent specifications; i.e. writing or describing how the invention works in a clear and concise manner

Patent prosecution in Malaysia and overseas
-
Preparing arguments in response to patent examination reports
-
Managing client's patent portfolios
-
Liaising with the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MYIPO)
-
Providing consultation services to inventors and clients on managing and utilising their patents

Requirements:
-
Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field
-
Working knowledge and experience in the Intellectual Property field will be an added advantage.

Good command of both written and verbal English is necessary. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office skills such as Word and Excel are required.
